Born in Veneto, I soon discovered my natural predisposition for foreign languages and sport. It was with pride that I wore the great Basket Schio’s jersey for several years, dividing my interests between gym and school books. Having completed the Linguistic High School and the School for Translators and Interpreters, I took off for the United States. On returning to Italy, I worked in a Linguistic Services Agency, where those early translations were still being done on a typewriter with double carbon copy paper! In 2005 I became the owner, working both as PM and as Freelance Translator. After more than 30 years, and with continuous updating, I am still working with unchanged enthusiasm for my profession, facing all challenges with grit and discipline, exactly as taught by sport.
